It's Autumn time. It's Autumn time.. The leaves are falling down.

HA HA HA... Now that song is stuck in your head. After General Conference on Saturday Ember, Kinzie, Mason, Kenna and I went to Cascade springs. We wanted to see all the pretty leaves before they fell off the trees. The kids were excited to go. We packed a picnic and ate there. The leaves were very pretty. THe kids had alot of fun chasing each other around. There were a lot of people there. Ember brought an extra camera for Mckinzie. YA Ember. It was a hit. Kinzie loved taking pictures of everything she could find. Kenna just loved to be in her "stollo." Mason took it upon him self to find the fish. He would say " aw Mom, look a fish." or "Nope. No fish here." It was a good day for us all. Conference was great as usual. Then we went for a ride, had a picnic, and a little walk in the leaves. The kids are still talking about it. In case you are wondering Aric was hunting. His favorite thing to do.

Mckinzie's Birthday

We had a combined party with Mckinzie and her cousin. The girls were so excited they could hardly stand it. They had so much fun opening presents and visiting with family. Mckinzie was very excited to see so many people come for her party. Thanks to everyone who came.

Mason's Birthday party

We had a small party for Mason's birthday with our family on his birthday. Then we had a big party for extended family to come. It went well. We celebrated Mason's birthday and his cousins birthday at the same time. The boys really had a good time and loved every minute of it. Thanks to all those who came.

Bathroom adventures take one!

So my children are a little strange. These pictures were taken in our motel room in Moses Lake. Mckenna kept putting a hand towel over her head and laughing. Mckinzie was reading the motel guide book to mason. They played in the bathroom for 30 min. before I told them to get out. Strangley they were upset they had to leave. Who knew bathrooms were so fun and exciting.

POOL PARTY!!!!!!

AHHH..... The pool. We had a APX pool party at Cherise's parents house in Spokane, WA. Thanks Cherise. We had alot of fun. Mason enjoyed riding the four-wheeler with Lucus and jumping on the tramp with Lucus. ( Pretty much anything with Lucus) Mckenna really liked the pool. She sat in the little floaty for an hour. She also liked riding the four-wheeler with Mason. Aric had a good time rough housing with the guys, doing guy things. LOL. I enjoyed sitting next to the pool watching Aric and the kids. Sun tanning, oh ya. I put two coats of sunscreen on Mckenna but it didn't seem to help. My poor baby was fried. She was so red. I felt so bad. I guess she got her daddy's skin. Mason got a tan with one coat of sunscreen. Go figure. Aric was very fried. He was quite upset afterwords ( as were quite a few others) that he didn't put sunscreen on. We all insisted on geting a tan. In return we were all burnt. Including me. But on the bright side my pasty white legs got some color. Even if it was red. Thanks to everyone who was there. Special thanks to Cade for playing with Mason in the pool. He had alot of fun.
P.S. Brit Emmy looks so cute in her little hat.

AHH. THE POOL!

MCKENNA LIKES THE INNERTUBE BETTER THEN BEING IN THE POOL. LOL. SHE SAT RIGHT THERE ON THE SIDE AND PLAYED IN IT. WHEN I ASKED HER IF SHE WANTED TO GO IN THE POOL SHE SAID. "NO." SO SUN TANNING WON OUT.

ROOSTERS!!!!!!

WE USE TO HAVE CHICKENS FOR A WHILE. THE KIDS REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING IN THE YARD WITH THEM. ONE DAY ARIC WANTED TO HATCH CHICKEN EGGS SO HE BROUGHT HOME A ROOSTER. FOR A FEW MONTHS EVERYTHING WENT FINE. ONE DAY MCKINZIE CAME IN THE HOUSE CRYING SAYING THAT THE ROOSTER HAD ATTAKCED HER. WE HAD NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE ROOSTER AND BRUSHED IT OFF. A WEEK LATER ARIC, MASON, AND NATALIE WERE OUTSIDE. MASON WAS RIDING HIS CAR DOWN THE RAMP ON THE SHED. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ROOSTER CAME OUT OF NO WHERE AND ATTAKCED HIM THREE TIMES BEFORE NATALIE COULD GET MASON AWAY. THE NEXT DAY THE ROOSTER ATTACKED NATALIE AS SHE WAS GATHERING THE EGGS AND SHE THANKED HIM WITH A SWIFT KICK TO THE HEAD. A FEW DAYS LATER THE ROOSTER ATTACKED ARIC. THEN IT WAS ON. THE WAR HAD BEGAN. THE KIDS NO LONGER WANTED TO PLAYOUT SIDE IF THE ROOSTER WAS THERE. WHEN NATLAIE WOULD GATHER THE EGGS MASON WOULD SAY "MOM, MOM, DON'T LET THE ROOSTER GET YOU." THEN HE WOULD COME OUT SIDE AND YELL AT THE ROOSTER. " DON'T YOU ATTACK MY MOM." OR IF MCKINZIE WAS OUTSIDE " DON'T ATTACK MY SISTER, STUPID ROOSTER. GO AWAY." NEEDLESS TO SAY WE HAD ENOUGH AND SOLD THE ROOSTER. TO THIS DAY MASON SAYS HE DOESN'T LIKE ROOSTERS " 'CUZ THEY ATTACK YOU!!! FFEEEW( HE MAKES A SWEEPING MOTION WITH HIS HAND.)"

MCKINZIE AND MCKENNA

JANUARY 2008

MCKINZIE AND MCKENNA ARE THE BEST OF FRIENDS.

WHEN "MOMMY" WAS PREGNANT WITH MCKENNA, MCKINZIE TOLD MOMMY THAT SHE WANTED A SISTER REALLY REALLY BAD AND THAT SHE HAD TO HAVE ONE. MOMMY ASKED HER WHAT IF THE BABY WAS A BOY? MCKINZIE REPLIED " I DON'T WANT ANYMORE STUPID BROTHERS."

MCKINZIE DAWN DAVIES AGE 7.

MCKINZIE PLAYED SOCCER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE FALL OF 2008 AND SPRING OF 2009.

SHE LOVES SOCCER, BUT WASN'T ABLE TO PLAY VERY MANY GAMES DUE TO THE WEATHER.

SHE RUNS FAST AND HARD AFTER THE BALL AND THEN ASKS WHY SHE HAS TO RUN ALL THE TIME.

SHE SAYS THAT HER FAVORITE THING ABOUT SOCCER IS PRACTICE WHERE SHE CAN PLAY WITH HER FRIENDS. ACCORDING TO KINZIE SOCCER WOULD BE PERFECT IF THERE WERE NO GAMES JUST PRACTICE, AND OF COURSE NO RUNNING.

ONE TIME IN A GAME SHE BLOCKED A BALL WITH HER FOREHEAD. SHE THOUGHT THAT WAS GREAT AND HAS NOT STOPPED TALKING ABOUT IT SINCE.
